The Young and the Restless recap (YR) for Tuesday, August 7 features Lily turning herself in – making life even worse for everyone, Ashley returning to figure out what Billy is up to, and Summer pumping Kyle for details about Phyllis’s mystery man – and jumping to conclusions.
Cane (Daniel Goddard), Neil (Kristoff St. John), and Charlie (Noah Alexander Garry) were against Lily (Christel Khalil) confessing to running a red light and getting Hilary (Mishael Morgan) killed, while Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) was supportive.
Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc), on the other hand, was furious that Lily hired him as a lawyer, then proceeded to confess to everything – on the record.
Paul (Doug Davidson) consulted with Christine (Lauralee Bell) about whether to send Lily to prison… for 40 years. (Which is what Michael was trying to prevent!)
Billy (Jason Thompson) has a secret plan he’s not even telling Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about. And if he’s not telling Phyllis, he’s most certainly not going to tell Ashley (Eileen Davidson).
However, she did try to charm him with champagne. Billy’s sister wanted to know what he’s been up to. Where was that invoice for Jaboat, again?
Kyle (Michael Mealor) has no idea who Phyllis slept with while she and Billy were on a break. And even if he did, he wouldn’t tell her. Kyle then accused Summer (Hunter King) of wanting Billy for herself.
After Jack (Peter Bergman) admitted he still loves Phyllis, Summer urged him to pursue her mom. Totally not because that would leave Billy available for Summer.
Later, she snuck a look at Phyllis’s phone and came to the conclusion that Jack was Phyllis’s mystery date! Ooops.
