Genie Francis on General Hospital
It’s a very special day for Genie Francis today as she celebrates one heck of an amazing milestone.
The beloved General Hospital (GH) vet turns 55 today, and we still see her as the 19-year-old actress whose Laura married Tony Geary’s Luke.
Francis was born On May 26, 1952 as Eugenie Ann Francis to acting parents Ivor and Rosemary, so you can say her successful career is in the blood.
She shot to daytime fame in the late 1970s as Laura and gained fame outside of daytime when Laura and Luke fell in love.
Francis has also appeared on other soaps, including as Ceara on All My Children and Diana on Days of Our Lives.
However, she always seems to return to GH and Laura, a character who’s grown up right along with her.
Francis is married to actor Jonathan Frakes and is mother to their two grown children, Jameson and Elizabeth.
