Good news, General Hospital fans! Dominic Zamprogna is set for a triumphant return as Dante!

Maybe now he can explain where he’s been all this time, and why he felt no need to keep in touch with his wife and son or come back when, you know, Lulu (Emme Rylan) was stabbed and nearly died???

It’s about time, 89% of you are clapping with joy. There has been a huge Dante-shaped hole on the canvas ever since he left, and you’ve been dying for it to be filled – preferably with Dante, and preferably in the form of Zamprogna.

Not only have you missed Lulu and Dante as a couple, but you are expecting a full accounting of where he’s been and what was so gosh darn more important than Lulu and Rocco.

GH has no shortage of deadbeat dads. Luke (Anthony Geary). Robert (Tristan Rogers). Frisco (Jack Wagner). Even Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), for reasons nobody can quite buy.

But Dante was supposed to be one of the good guys. He grew up without a dad. Does he really want that for Rocco? And does he know how many new young guys Port Charles has been infested with lately? Claim your woman, man!
