Coming up in Port Charles

Ric (Rick Hearst) reassures Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), “You think that I am here to hurt him. You couldn’t be more wrong.” She probably still doesn’t trust him, and rightly so. At this point, Ric doesn’t just need a grand gesture, he needs something bordering on miraculous, ideally witnessed by multiple people and maybe notarized for good measure.

At Wyndemere, Lucas (Van Hansis) is taken aback when Sidwell (Carlo Rota) implores him, “I’d like to ask if you’d stay.” Lucas has several reasons not to reveal who really stabbed Marco (Adrian Anchondo). He’ll want to stay at Wyndemere for access to Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) medication, as well as formulate his revenge plot against Sidwell.

At the hospital, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) asks Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), “Why’d you issue that arrest warrant for Jason Morgan?” Why indeed? Cullum may not throw Jason (Steve Burton) under the bus because he knows someone else plugged him in the back. He’ll likely continue saying he doesn’t remember who shot him and will probably want to investigate on his own.

Elsewhere, Laura (Genie Francis) asks Sonny (Maurice Benard), “What kind of person would I be if I turned my back on him now?” She’ll probably bring him up to speed on Ezr’s (Daniel Cosgrove) not-so-subtle press conference ultimatum. Sonny’s going to make a bold suggestion which will no doubt be for her to go along with it. He’ll absolutely take the hit for her protection.

An incredulous Lulu (Alexa Havins) asks Nathan (Ryan Paevey), “Are you saying that this is Jason and Britt’s fault?” Nathan may not have time to respond because the teasers say he’ll gain some intel. Now that we know he’s not really Nathan, and a Faison no less, all bets are off as to what he’ll do next.

And Britt hauls off and punches Brad (Parry Shen) in the face, which honestly feels less like a shock and more like a delayed response to years of expertly delivered snark. Brad likely opened his mouth, polished off a perfectly timed jab, and forgot that Britt is not currently in the mood for witty banter.
