Another one bites the dust, as Brad joins General Hospital’s favorite cult of the hour, Dawn of Day. No one is denying Shiloh’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) charisma. Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) sure fell for it, as did dozens of other day players we don’t know or care about.
But Brad (Parry Shen) has particularly good reasons to be troubled these days. He’s lying to husband Lucas (Ryan Carnes) every day by not telling him that Wiley, the baby they adopted, is actually not the original child they received from birth mother Willow (Katelyn McCullen).
That baby died, and Brad switched him with Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and Michael’s (Chad Duell) child. Michael, coincidentally, is little Wiley’s godfather and thinks his own son, Jonah, is dead.
So you can see why Brad would have quite a bit on his conscience. Bur Brad is a smart guy. So is Willow, supposedly. They let her teach children. And she once fell for Dawn of Day.
And what about the DA? The great Margaux Dawson on a one-woman crusade to bring down organized crime also seems to be falling for Shiloh’s load of BS.
No one ever accused Kristina or being intelligent. Or Oscar (Garren Stitt). But at least he’s critically ill and desperate. Are you surprised so many Port Charles residents are falling for this scam? How over 16,000 fans feel:
Wrong Turn
What is wrong with those people, 84% of the audience wonders. Can’t they see they’re being conned? Shiloh is just empty platitudes, buzz-words, and manipulation. Sure, everyone wants to buy what he’s selling, but whatever happened to caveat emptor?
Stupid Is as Stupid Does
No one on GH is particularly deep, the remaining 16% sigh. They’ll believe anything they’re told.
These are the people who believe a mobster is the noblest man in town, and his hitman is a candidate for sainthood. They also will believe anyone is dead, even when that person has come back from the dead before. So, why not fall for Dawn of Day?
