Breakups and makeups are a constant on General Hospital, and we can sometimes see a new couple forming before they do themselves. A few are happening right before our eyes.
Key Takeaways
- It is time for the slow-moving Elizabeth and Dante to get together.
- Lulu and Ric are an unlikely pair
- Joe and Lucas may be the perfect couple.
Dante and Elizabeth
This one has been a long time coming, and it is time already. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) has been single ever since Sam (Kelly Monaco) passed away, but Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) is currently dating Ric (Rick Hearst).
Is Liz even into Ric, or did she just finally give in to his constant badgering? She is flirtier with Dante than she ever was with her current boyfriend, and he clearly has feelings for her. They have a great connection and tend to be there for each other. The two have a lot in common, each raising their sons as single parents.
How long can this “will they or won’t they” go on? Elizabeth needs to end things with Ric and be with the guy she is obviously interested in. Although Ric can be a loose cannon, and we never know what he might do if he loses Elizabeth. Unless…
Ric and Lulu
There may be a little something going on between Ric and Lulu (Alexa Havins). He recently went to her for help after he noticed the spark between his girlfriend and Dante, and now the two are working together. The attorney volunteered to defend Lulu in the libel case that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) brought against her.
Ric knows how bad Willow is and wants to help Lulu win her case. The two will be working closely. He will have plenty of time since his girlfriend is constantly off finding reasons to be with Dante. This is a very unlikely couple that may somehow work.
Lucas and Joe
Joe (Jonathan Bennett) seems to be the best thing that has happened to the PCPD in quite a while. The detective actually investigates cases. He could also be a great guy for Lucas (Van Hansis).
Lucas is still grieving his beloved Marco (Adrian Anchondo), but Joe is definitely brightening his world. The accidental roommates are having a ball together, and they seem to be a perfect match. Joe keeps Lucas calm while Lucas brings out his roommate’s fun side.
They may be a match made in heaven, but is it too good to be true? We don’t know much about the new detective yet, but our fingers are crossed that he doesn’t have an evil side. Lucas deserves to be happy.
What do you think of these prospective couples?
