In the October 14 episode of General Hospital, Detective Joe questioned Britt, Lucas, and Triatan about Jack’s disappearance, a drugged Sidwell, and accusations against Willow. The more Joe asked, the more he got pushed back on by Britt and Lucas, and realized something didn’t add up.

Key Takeaways

  • Joe questioned Lucas about Lulu’s article.
  • The police officer made Britt and Tristan uneasy.
  • Joe asked what no one else would.

Jack’s Disappearance Is Back in the Mix

There’s no question that Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) article placed a spotlight on Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). While so many in Port Charles are focused on that aspect of the article, the fact that Jack (Chris McKenna) remains missing has barely been talked about. The WSB agent disappeared weeks ago, and Nina (Cynthia Watros) was hauled off to prison despite Jack’s body not being found.

Joe (Jonathan Bennett) tracked down Lucas (Van Hansis), asking if he thought Willow had something to do with a missing Jack. Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) overheard and lost her mind on the detective.

In true Britt fashion, she meddled and pulled Tristan (Dean Geyer) into her mess. Britt insisted Sidwell (Carlo Rotta) didn’t know what he was saying because he was so drugged up on medication.

Tristan insisted that it was one possibility. The other was that Sidwell’s inhibitions might also have been lowered, but he still spoke the truth.

Lucas Gives Joe an Earful

Alone with Lucas, Joe mentioned that something didn’t add up about Willow. Joe also explained that Nina’s arrest hasn’t sat well with him since she was taken into custody and shipped off to Steinmauer.

Lucas warned Joe that the WSB wasn’t a bureau that he wanted to poke the bear with. Joe listened but admitted he was determined to find answers, especially about Jack and Willow.

The detective has raised questions with Lucas and Britt that neither wants to answer. Lucky for Britt, Joe didn’t hear when Tristan informed her that there is a WSB drug that does, in fact, make someone locked in.

Why Is No One Else Asking About Jack and Willow?

Lulu’s article may have its own issues. However, Joe’s right that no one seems to have questioned the connection between Drew (Cameron Mathison), Willow, and Jack. Instead, the focus has been on what Willow did to true while Jack remains missing.

Joe’s gut instinct is spot on in a way. There’s a connection between Jack and Willow. Following that connection will expose many of Willow’s dirty deeds and, hopefully, Drew’s too. What Joe is wrong about is Willow having anything to do with Jack’s disappearance.

The problem is that the more questions Joe asks, the more people will work to shut him up. Britt already tried, which means Willow, Chase (Josh Swickard), and Drew won’t be far behind.

Here’s hoping Joe gets answers to his questions before the others can quiet him.
