What should Nikolas get involved with first on GH?
Nikolas Cassadine did a runner from General Hospital after ex-wife Ava and pal Austin left Nikolas for dead. But we know he’s alive, Laura knows he’s alive, Ava knows he’s alive, and Spencer knows he’s alive. Which means it’s time for Nikolas to stay in Port Charles. Several stories need, if not his attention, then at least his presence.
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Finn (Michael Easton) are a snooze. Liz helped Nik keep Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) prisoner. Nik should return the favor by saving her from this boring relationship by romancing her himself.
If not that, Nik deserves to meet his son. If he’s there for Ace, then maybe Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) will drop his obsession and spend more time with Trina (Tabyana Ali). We call that a win-win (read Ali’s interview about their New York trip here). Also, Nikolas should consider changing the tot’s name. Who ever heard of Prince Ace? He should be something more regal, like Prince Alexander Constantin Eduardo. They can still call him Ace and pretend it’s a nickname.
Then again, Nik and Ava (Maura West) have some unfinished business. Are they still in love? Do they loathe each other? Do they want to continue making each other miserable? Do they want to end this once and for all? Now that they’ve had a chat about that hitting over the head until presumed dead incident, anything can happen.
And now that Esme has her memory back, we can’t believe she won’t want revenge on Nik. Revenge he totes deserves. Esme can, at the very least, threaten him with exposure if he doesn’t do her bidding. And, if he busts her, at least she’ll be able to take him down with her. No matter how awful Esme was to Joss, Cam, and Trina, Nik was equally awful to her. If she’s got to pay, he’s got to pay. And even if she doesn’t.
