The day many General Hospital fans have been waiting for arrived on Thursday as the wedding of Sonny Corinthos and Nina Reeves got underway. The bride and groom looked stunning, the flower girl and ring bearer were adorable, and those in attendance looked fabulous.
The bride was particularly happy to have her daughter, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), by her side, as the groom was thrilled to be back in son Michael’s (Chad Duell) good graces. A text message that Michael received prior to the ceremony from someone who claims to know who ratted out Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) to the SEC almost derailed the wedding (and still might), but so far, things look like they will proceed.
Wiley and Donna had their own special moments as the ring bearer and flower girl, respectively. Sonny (Maurice Benard) took a moment to make both of his daughters in attendance feel special, as Kristina (Kate Mansi) looked radiant in her dress.
When the bride entered, Sonny could hardly contain his smile. Nina (Cynthia Watros) looked spectacular, as it was the day she’d waited so long for — her chance to become Mrs. Sonny Corinthos. Will the wedding happen? It sure looks like it! In the meantime, enjoy these photos from the lead-up.
