Bobbie Dissing Nina’s General Hospital Past Was A Bit Hypocritical

It’s been a long time since General Hospital fans laid eyes on Nurse Bobbie Spencer. Which is why it was such a shame that the rare time we do, most of it was wasted on Bobbie acting the hypocrite, reading Nina Reeves the riot act about what a terrible influence she’d be on grandson Wiley Corinthos – while ignoring her own daughter’s checkered past – not to mention her own.

General Hospital: The Charges

Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) agreed with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that no one in Port Charles has ever committed a more grievous sin than Nina (Cynthia Watros) keeping an amnesiac Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) from his loving family. If Nina is capable of evil like that, who knows what damage she could do to poor Wiley’s delicate psyche?

GH: Remember When

Hey, remember when ex-hooker Bobbie tried to steal Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) from Laura Webber (Genie Francis) by faking a pregnancy, then bringing her brother, Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) to town to break up the happy couple? (Spoiler: It worked.) Or when that same Bobbie faked blindness to Noah Drake (Rick Springfield)? (Spoiler: It failed.) How about when she cheated on her husband or, oh, oh, we’ve got one, how about when she kept her adopted son, Lucas Jones, away from his biological mother even when she knew the baby had been stolen? Does any of that come even close to Nina’s sins?

General Hospital: Second Generation

And if Grandma Nina is a bad influence on poor, wittle Wiley, is Grandma Carly much better? The one who came to town specifically to ruin her mother’s marriage? Who seduced Tony Jones (Brad Maule)? Who claimed he was Michael Corinthos‘ (Chad Duell) father? Then changed her story and said Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was – all to keep him from his real dad, AJ Quartermaine? The Carly who married a mobster?

Our point is: Bobbie, there aren’t enough black kettles for you to be flinging them at glasshouse.
