Carly’s bond with Drew came to a rapid end when Jason resurfaced on General Hospital (GH).
After years of believing Drew (Billy Miller) was her long-lost bestie, Jason (Steve Burton), Carly (Laura Wright) learned he wan’t Jason at all, putting the kibosh on their intense friendship.
Suddenly, the pair stopped being each other’s confidante and support system. Heck, they barely shared a lukewarm moment together in months. That is, until Carly found a bruised and battered Drew outside Kim’s (Tamara Braun) apartment, following his fight with Jason, and showed compassion and empathy for her old pal.
It got Soap Hub wondering if Carly and Drew could ever be friends again. Over 6,000 GH fans weighed in and took a stand on the subject.
Yes, Of Course
The results on this one were nearly split, with 52% of you believing Carly and Drew can mend things and become pals.
They developed a real bond during the years the real Jason was missing and were there for one another during some tough times.

That support can’t easily be forgotten, and it shouldn’t be. Eventually, this duo will rekindle some sort of a friendship, although it will never be as strong as the one Carly shares with Jason.
No Way
On the flip side, 48% of fans think there’s too much water under the bridge for Carly and Drew to ever revive their friendship. Drew knows that Carly’s allegiance, first and foremost, will always go to Jason.
He also knows that Carly has done everything in her power to push Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason back together. Being second best to his twin isn’t what Drew wants or needs. Besides, he’s already found a true blue BFF in Curtis (Donnell Turner).
