Bromances Rule in Port Charles on General Hospital

Male best friends have been some of the strongest and most enduring relationships the General Hospital has had over the years.

Currently, Jason and Curtis (Donnell Turner) seem to have the best partnership going in Port Charles, but that wasn’t always the case. Soap Hub was wondering which past bromance did you like the most.

Mob Rules
After almost 3,500 votes were tallied, 61% liked Jason and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) male bonding relationship the most. Sonny was like father figure to Jason after a car accident took Jason Quartermaine’s memory and left Jason Morgan behind.

There wasn’t anything Jason wouldn’t do for his boss and mentor, while Sonny became just a co-dependent on his enforcer.

He trusted him to take care of his family and keep them safe like no one else. While their current relationship is not what it once was, Jason is still doing everything he can to clear Sonny’s name and find out who killed his son.

Daring Adventures
It seems 37% liked the special bond shared by Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).

Together, they took on Mikkos Cassadine, who was trying to freeze the world with the Ice Princess and stopped double agent Grant and his cohorts from getting the Prometheus Disc.

In addition to other adventures, they even loved the same woman – Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) but their relationship was able to weather her storm.

While they may not be as close as they once were, these two are like war buddies who will always be there if the other calls needing a helping hand.

Maybe Baby

Maybe Baby
Still, 2% liked Ned (Wally Kurth) and Jax (Ingo Rademacher) unconventional friendship. When Jax first arrived in town, he was hot for Ned’s wife Lois. But, she introduced him to Brenda and it was off to the races for Jax.

When Jax later fell for Chloe, she had to marry quickly or lose her company. Good buddy Ned stepped up and asked Chloe to marry him — while Jax, needing to make sure everything looked appropriate, ended up having to marry Ned’s love, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). The four became very good friends – even after both couples split.
