Brenda Back on General Hospital? Is That What You Want?

Some cryptic tweets from Vanessa Marcil last week left fans and the soap industry wondering if she’d soon return to General Hospital.

The tweets referred to big news and “coming home” soon before the actress re-tweeted a romantic photo of Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Brenda, one of the most popular GH couples of all time.

Soap Hub asked if you’d welcome Brenda back with open arms, and if she did return, what you’d like to see her do.

Sonny and Brenda Forever!
Out of a whopping 7,100 votes, 45% of you want Brenda back–STAT. And, you want her with Sonny. You feel she’s just what he needs right now. He lost Carly, he feels responsible for Morgan’s death, and he now thinks he slept with Nelle (Chloe Lanier).

Sonny is definitely at a low point, and if there’s anyone who can bring him out of his low points, it’s Brenda. Some fans even believe she’s Sonny’s one true love.

Sonny and Carly Forever!
A smaller 26% wants Brenda to stay in Europe living the good life (or so we last heard) and allow Sonny to work things out with Carly (Laura Wright).

Since Sonny didn’t directly cause Morgan’s death, you feel there’s no reason for Carly to stay away from him, and they can lean on each other during this tragic time.

Brenda Forever!
It seems 25% of you want Brenda back, but want her to stay away from Sonny. Brenda has had other relationships and romances, and you don’t see why she must always end up in Sonny’s orbit whenever Marcil makes a comeback.

Hmmm…
A very small amount — 6% of you — aren’t sure what you want. While you have no problem with Marcil and Brenda, you feel the show is doing just fine without her.
