Could Another Jerome Show Up On General Hospital?

It looks like someone has been pulling Julian’s strings and that someone (besides Sonny) may have even wanted him dead on General Hospital.

Jason (Billy Miller) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) finally got a name in their quest to prove Sonny’s innocence and thought they finally had a solid lead. Of course, it turned out Oscar Jessup died way back in 1990, so that leaves this mystery wide open–and even more intriguing.

Longtime fans like the Soap Hub staff also remember someone with the initials O.J. dying in 1990 and that person had a very clear connection to Julian–his sister, Olivia Jerome. In fact, Julian is the one who shot her, but now we have to wonder–did she really die?

It definitely looked like Julian (William deVry) was talking to a woman in red 10 days ago, and not a man. And this “Jessup” was clearly alive. Might Julian not even know he’s taking orders from his sister–who would have a very good reason to have a vendetta against him.

Many GH fans will remember that Olivia first came to town as Olivia St. John, played by the formidable Tonja Walker, who later made a name for herself as Alex Olanov Buchanan on One Life to Live.

She was later revealed to be the daughter of crime boss, Victor Jerome, and was an art dealer by day. (Sound familiar?) By the time she left GH in an alleged body bag, she was trying to clean up her act, but it was a case of too little, too late…or was it?

If Olivia is alive, that would certainly add a new element to the Jerome family dynamic and possibly explain Julian’s ridiculous behavior since he married…continue reading on the next page —>

If Olivia is alive, that would certainly add a new element to the Jerome family dynamic and possibly explain Julian’s ridiculous behavior since he married Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

(But, does it excuse it?) If GH were to bring Walker back in the role, she and Maura West as the two Jerome sisters would be quite the match–and entertain us for hours on end.

It might seem far-fetched, but is anything really far-fetched on a soap? In all honesty, although our theory is pure speculation, we would love it if Oscar Jessup really did turn out to be Olivia Jerome.
