Eight years after being killed off in a car bombing, Bryan Craig is heading back to General Hospital as Morgan Corinthos, although he won’t be sticking around very long. He’s only slated to appear in one episode, and it will most likely be via a dream or vision.
Here’s What You Need To Know
Since leaving daytime, Craig recurred on The CW series Valor (2017-2018) as Sgt. Adam Coogan, and landed a starring role as Javi Mendoza in the ABC drama Grand Hotel (2019). Most recently, he was a series regular on Freeform’s Good Trouble (2022-2024), where he portrayed Joaquin Perez.

2. He made his screen debut at age 14 in the 2005 movie, Off the Chain. Based on a true story, it explored the tale of a frustrated young housewife, played by Tomey Sellars, who toys with the idea of offing her terminally lazy spouse. Craig played the couple’s son, Jason.
3. Upon moving to Los Angeles, Craig nabbed the part of Justin in the 2011 movie Christmas Spirit. That same year, he appeared as Jonah in an episode of the TV series The Nine Lives of Chloe King and landed the recurring role of Blake on Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures.
4. Although hesitant about delving into daytime, Craig auditioned for General Hospital in 2013. He was promptly cast as Morgan Corinthos, a complex character that changed his mind about the genre. He later told Soap Opera Digest that his parents convinced him to sign a three-year contract.
5. Craig was nominated for four consecutive Daytime Emmy nominations during his powerful tenure on GH, all in the Outstanding Younger Actor category. Although he lost to Chandler Massey (ex-Will, Days of our Lives) in 2014 and Freddie Smith (ex-Sonny, Days of our Lives) in 2015, he finally took home the gold in 2016 and 2017.
6. He was engaged to his former GH star, Kelly Theibaud (ex-Britt Westmore). After dating for two years, he proposed to her in 2015 while on a romantic vacation in Bali. The couple were set to marry in March 2017 but called off their engagement in 2016.
