Since taking over the role of Jake Spencer in 2016, Hudson West has been turning heads with his incredible talent and range on General Hospital (GH).

The tyke totally shined Friday, December 8 episode, when Jake had a sit down with his mom Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and “dad” Drew (Billy Miller) and learned that the man he believed to be his father is actually his uncle.

The daytime wunderkind was suddenly overcome with emotion and tears as Jake rebuffed the news, luring viewers in to feel his pain and confusion.

Here are 10 things to know about the soap superkid.

1. The young actor made his feature film debut in 2015 opposite Kevin James in Paul Blart: Mall Cop.

2. West is super close to his GH dad-turned-uncle Billy Miller and has spread his affection for him on Twitter. Back in June, he posted, “Happy, late Father’s Day to the best stage dad I’ve ever had.”

In September, he shared: “Remembering all the past episodes with the best on set Dad ever! Wishing you the best birthday ever Billy!”/

3. He’s got lots of love for his soap moms, too. In May, he tweeted, “Happy belated birthday to my GH mom Rebecca Herbst & GH stepmom Kelly Monaco. You’re both beautiful, sweet ladies. I love you like family!!”

4. When he’s not acting, West is just normal kid, who does regular things like go trick-or-treating for Halloween. This year, he dressed up as Pennywise the Dancing Clown from the Stephen King horror novel/mini-series, It.

5. West has met some big Hollywood stars, while amassing his resume of credits. The one that stands out at the top is Jane Fonda. He shared the screen with Fonda during the second season of Grace and Frankie on Netflix.

6. Did you watch FX series American Crime Story: The People v. OJ Simpson? West played Marcia Clark’s son, Travis, in the true crime anthology.

7. He has another love besides acting: music. West was stoked to get a DJ set for Christmas last year. So he’s ready to host his own dance party.

8. Sports wise, he likes hockey and baseball. West played in his first team baseball game in October 2017.

9. The kid’s a bit of daredevil with apparently no fear of heights. He’s already been ziplining and parasailing, both of which he raves about.

10. After working with Constance Towers (Helena) at the GH Nurses’ Ball in June, West blew her cover as a daytime baddie. Not only did he note that it was “an honor” to share scenes with “such an amazing actress,” but he also said she was “very nice to work with,” too.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
