Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici may win the title of “Best Bachelor Couple of All Time.”
Not only have they been married for five years — which seems like a lifetime in Bachelor years — they also have two adorable little boys, Samuel and Isaiah.
Though their life has trials and tribulations just like everybody else’s, they do a great job and making sure to connect with one another and keep their relationship strong.
But, the craziest thing is that they really didn’t know each other very well before they got engaged back in 2013.
In fact, they had technically only spent a few days together before Sean got down on one knee and proposed!
“It’s easy to see why people break up. You meet in this crazy alternate reality and you don’t even have each other’s phone numbers, but yet you have a ring on your finger,” Catherine recently told AOL.
“You don’t come from the same city and now you have to compromise your entire life for this person you don’t really know. I mean, it’s very weird. Of course a lot of people don’t make it.”
However, while most Bachelor Nation couples love going on the extravagant and romantic dates on the show, both Sean and Catherine couldn’t wait to have a date of a different kind — and it might surprise you.
“You know what’s funny?” On ‘The Bachelor,’ we kept saying this is great, because we’re doing these like once-in-a-lifetime type of dates, but the sound of putting on sweatpants and lying on the couch — that was like a dream to us at that time. And now we’re living that dream,” he shared.
