Entertainment News – Headed to the Dance Floor

It’s official. The cast of Dancing With the Stars’ 29th season has finally been revealed. It’s a lineup packed with a member of a famous boy band, an NFL star, and an actress who’s been prominent in the gossip pages.

Exit at The Talk
The Talk is losing one of its newest co-hosts. Marie Osmond is gearing up to leave the show after one season, so she can devote her time to other projects, including a new show she’s developing with ViacomCBS.

Grey’s Anatomy Is Back

Big news for Grey’s Anatomy fans. The medical drama is returning to production on September 7, and the cast has already assembled for a table read. Word is the new season will be incorporating the COVID-19 pandemic into the storyline. Entertainment Hub has all the details.

Ellen Pompeo, who’s portrayed Meredith Grey on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy for 15 years, has seen her share of couples come and go on the nighttime hit. And, over the years, she’s had her favorites. But which pair does she consider tops right now? Check out what revealed.

Milestone at This Is Us
This Is Us released a promo for its new season, which you can view here. The theme is the big 4-0, as in “the big three” — namely, Christy Metz’s Kate, Justin Hartley’s Kevin, and Sterling K. Brown’s Randall — will be celebrating that milestone birthday.

Zoey Cast Expanded

NBC musical dramedy, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, was an instant hit last season, thanks to a cast led by Jane Levy, Skylar Astin, Alex Newell, and Mary Steenburgen. As Season 2 approaches, four of the show’s popular recurring characters have been upped to series regulars.

Headlines on Law & Order
Mariska Hargitay’s Law & Order: SVU and Chris Meloni’s Law & Order: Organized Crime will be returning and premiering respectively (one sooner than the other), and when they do, both shows will be incorporating current events into their scripts. Expect to see the procedurals dealing with the civil unrest in today’s society.

COVID Is Batman’s New Enemy

Production has been temporarily halted on the new film, The Batman. According to multiple reports, Twilight’s Robert Pattison, who is playing the Dark Knight, tested positive for the coronavirus.
