Top Five Reasons We Miss Robb Stark on Game of Thrones

Robb Stark has been long gone from Game of Thrones, but that doesn’t mean we don’t still think about him. Not only was his death one of the most jaw-dropping moments in GOT history, but he also had so much potential left on the show.

While it can be hard to root for characters like Cersei, Jaime, and Daenerys, it was never hard to root for Robb (Richard Madden). He may not have been the smartest in battle, but he always tried to do what was right for his people and for his family. Though we’ll never get him back, here are the top five reasons we miss Robb!

Like Father, Like Son
Now that we know Jon is not actually Ned Stark’s bastard son, Robb is truly the only Stark son who is most like the former Warden of the North. Robb believed in being an honorable ruler, much like his father, and we miss having that sort of dignity on the show.

Born to Rule
Also unlike Jon, Robb truly wanted to be the King of the North. After his father’s death, he accepted the responsibility of being a leader and did whatever he had to do to protect his people. It would’ve been interesting to see his response to Daenerys Targaryen and her quest for the Iron Throne.

He Deserved Happiness
Though he wasn’t necessarily the smartest ruler (he should’ve never gotten married in the first place), all he wanted was to have a wife and kids. Despite gullibly attending the Fray wedding, he didn’t deserve to be killed in such a gruesome way. It also would’ve been nice to see him as a father and potentially turn into Ned Stark 2.0.

His Family Needed Him
Since his passing in Season 3, it’s clear his family could’ve really used his help and guidance. It would’ve been nice for Sansa and Arya to have their older brother around when they returned home to Winterfell and Robb could’ve been useful when fighting the White Walkers.

How Would He Have Reacted To His Family?
The most interesting reason we miss Robb is that we’d like to know what his reaction would be to his family. What would he think of Arya becoming an assassin? How would he feel about Theon protecting Bran?! Would he have supported Dany? It would’ve been interesting to see his feelings about it all.
