This is Us Star Mandy Moore Introduces Her New Baby To The World

For those tuning in to This is Us tonight, the episode revolves around bringing babies home from the hospital, as the show will detail Jack and Rebecca bringing home the Big Three, as well as the newest Pearsons coming home to Kate and Toby, and Kevin and Madison, respectively.

But in a case of life imitating art, actress Mandy Moore (Rebecca) is bringing home her own little bundle of joy, as she and husband Taylor Goldsmith welcomed a new son into this world. The actress posted the happy news on her Instagram account.

“Gus is here,” she wrote next to an adorable photo of her son. “Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith. He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents. We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined.”

The couple married in 2018, and Moore shared the news of her pregnancy back in September. Moore hasn’t been shy about talking about her struggles with getting pregnant, revealing in several interviews that she had an issue with her uterus that would make it hard to have a child. But happily, she became a first-time mom and is thrilled.

There seems to be a case of baby fever on This is Us lately, as Kevin and Madison just welcomed twins and Kate and Toby celebrated the birth of their daughter, who they are adopting from the birth mother. Due to COVID concerns, only Kate was able to witness the exciting birth of their newest family member.

Kate and Toby already have a son, who is deaf, so raising a baby should come more naturally to them, but as first-time parents, Kevin and Madison are sure to have their hands full. Still, it’s probably nothing like we’ll see Jack and Rebecca go through when they bring home three kids. We’re guessing none of their lives will ever be the same.
