This Is Us Star Chrissy Metz Faces Big Fear And Wins

Chrissy Metz is currently back filming the fourth season of This Is Us on NBC, but the actress just revealed the big fear she conquered while she was away on vacation during the show’s summer hiatus.

While we all have our fears that we need to face, some bigger than others, Metz explained in an Instagram post shared on Thursday, that one of her fears has always been jet skiing.

In fact, up until her vacation to Turks and Caicos, she had never been on one before. But determined to try the exciting sport, she pushed past her fear and ended up having the time of her life!

“On this edition of what I did on my summer vacation…#tbt to the beautiful @theshoreclubtc in Turks and Caicos! Before anyone asks, I did not run into Britney OR Drake but I had an amazing time!” shared Metz.

“Also, for anyone afraid of jet skis — I UNDERSTAND! I have never even been on one until this trip. Y’all, I YouTubed videos the night before and white knuckled the first 20mins, but Heeennnnny, I’m so glad I pushed through.”

Metz used the opportunity to encourage anyone who may have a fear of going on a jetski to just go for it! “I encourage anyone who has ever had a fear, hang up or uncertainty of getting on one to just do it. Try it. Seriously. Also, I covered up as much as I could only because of the UV rays, not for any other reason,” she continued.

While we’re happy to hear Metz conquered her fear while on vacation, we’re glad she’s home safe and sound and back to work on This Is Us, which premieres on Tuesday, September 24.
