On the Season 3 finale of This Is Us, Kevin Pearson had a heart-to-heart talk with his niece Tess, who feels challenged over finding her identity. During the chat, Kevin revealed he once shared something intimate with a famous actor.
Tess (Eris Baker) has shared that she believes she might be attracted to other girls and not boys. Kevin (Justin Hartley) reminded his niece that she told him in a very modern way — she texted him.
Kevin, whose profession is that of an actor, said he couldn’t exactly relate to what she was feeling in life, but in a jovial way, did say that he once kissed Topher Grace in an independent film.
Well, it turns out, in real life, Grace must be a fan of the show as he spotted a tweet about it and commented that his wife is bummed out that the kiss never happened as the movie only exists in the This Is Us universe and has yet to be shown being made there!
Despite Kevin being a fictional character, making a fiction movie, that didn’t stop fans from saying they tried to find out what movie the two actors (searching under Hartley instead of Kevin) had shot together before realizing, well, it just didn’t exist.
This Is Us Season 4 has yet to be officially announced, but the critical darling and ratings-success series is all but guaranteed to be back on the NBC line up this fall, especially since the finale’s ratings showed an uptick. When news is finally released, Entertainment Hub will be sure to let fans know.
This Is Us is available on NBC.com
