Entertainment News: Love and Family

Paris Hilton is a married woman. She took her vows with Carter Reum on November 11 in a star-studded wedding fit for an heiress. Paris gave a first look peek at her wedding on Instagram.

Pete Davidson is quite the playboy and his newest conquest seems to be Kim Kardashian West. The freshly divorced mother of four was caught kissing the SNL superstar. Pete confirmed the romance, according to People Magazine.

Random News

The #FreeBritney movement has a massive reason to celebrate. The California Courts have finally freed Britney Spears from her conservatorship. Her current accounting team will stay on to wrap up current financial issues but other than that, she now has control over her life and finances. Read all about the case and her court win here.

Paul Rudd made headlines this week when People Magazine named him the sexiest man alive. He graced their cover to some ooh’s, ahh’s, and even a little backlash from naysayers. Take a look for yourself here.

Illness and Injury

Wendy Williams gave an update this week to her fans. The talk show host took to Instagram to thank her fans for their patience and let them know it’s going to be a while longer before she gets back in her purple chair. Wendy is currently undergoing treatment for Grave’s Disease.

Entertainment News: Celebrity Scandals

Gladys Knight and her family are reeling after a recent tax scandal that landed her son behind bars. Shanga Hankerson was handed a two-year sentence after being found guilty of tax crimes. This isn’t the first time Shanga made the news. He was arrested during a raid in 2016 on the family’s now-debunked business.

Multiple deaths occurred at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Music Festival. Eight people died by being crushed, trampled, and cardiac arrest. Suspicions of drugging are running rampant. Adding to the tragedy is Scott and his crew’s response to dying concertgoers. The show went on during multiple deaths and getting help was next to impossible. Scott has volunteered to cover funeral costs. NPR has all he details.

Lawsuits began to drop over the Rust shooting last month, including a suit filed against Alec Baldwin. The film’s chief electrician filed against Baldwin as the executive producer, assistant director David Halls, armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, and others for negligence causing death and emotional distress. Andy Dick was cuffed and collared this week after allegedly attacking his boyfriend with a liquor bottle. The incident happened during the couple’s road trip and caused quite a detour. Andy is out on bail and due back in court on March 7.

Casting About

The 11th Hour is losing its beloved host, journalist Brian Wiliams. The news anchor opted to not renew his contract and end his 28-year long career with NBC News. Watch for his final show near the end of this year.

The Mighty Ducks became a little less mighty this week when Emilio Estevez walked off

]set. He quit the franchise sighting a contract dispute. The actor also opened up about suffering the effects of “Long Haul Syndrome” due to Covid-19. You can read his full statement here.

Songstress Alanis Morissette is teaming up with ABC to develop a sitcom based on her life. The Canadian musician rose to fame first under the name Alanis with her hit song “Too Hot” and then made a massive comeback using her full name. Fans can expect the new series, “Relatable” to give an inside look into the actress. Variety has all the details.

Netflix phenomenon Squid Game is coming back for a second season. The show’s creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk confirmed the Korean drama is coming back to the small screen for another addition to the smash hit. TV Line has all the details.

Entertainment News: In Memoriam

Hollywood legend Dean Stockwell died this week at 85 years old. The actor’s career spanned from 1945 – 2015 with him taking starring roles in smash hit TV shows such as Quantum Leap (Admiral Al Calavicci), The Tony Danza Show, JAG, and Battlestar Galactica as well as 200 other TV and movie credits.

Heartbreaking news came in from Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Winter the Dolphin who starred in the movie Dolphin Tale passed away from an infection this week. The famed creature stole hearts when the process of her prosthetic tail was turned into a smash hit movie starring Harry Connick Jr, Morgan Freeman, and Ashley Judd.
