Days of our Lives — The Week Ahead
Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) wedding day is here. Cue the happy tears, heartfelt words, and sweet gestures. Until it is time to walk down the aisle…
It’s all sunshine and rainbows for the happy couple in the beginning, but an unexpected confrontation between Abe and Paulina will leave them both in tears, and their happily ever after will come to a grinding halt faster than they can say ‘I Do’.
Of course, we have seen this coming for weeks. Paulina’s big secret about Lani Price Grant’s (Sal Stowers) real parentage comes out, and it leaves Lani (and Abe) devastated. She confronts Paulina and demands to know the whole truth and nothing but.
Missing out on all the drama of the big day is Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). She decided to skip her mother’s nuptials to hang out with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) instead. The couple’s relationship is heating up fast, and it looks like it won’t be slowing down anytime soon. That is unless MarDevil’s (Deidre Hall) mind games have any effect on Chanel.
Also being influenced by the Devil is John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and his host, Marlena. It is attempting to corrupt their love. But the Devil doesn’t realize what it is up against. John and Marlena have defeated much worse, and the Devil will have to give it its all to break apart John and Marlena.

Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) realized she was fighting a losing battle when it came to Zombie Charlie Dale (Mike Manning). Trask (Tina Haung) didn’t believe her haunting tale even with Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) backing her up. So, instead, Ava lied. She confessed to killing Carmine (Richard Stevens) but insisted it was self-defense. It was enough to get her out of lock-up.
Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) also came home after his time in cuffs. He cut a deal with the D.A. to sell Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) down the river. That wasn’t Philip’s only drama. He was also fired by Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and thought he caught Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) cheating. He flew into a rage and destroyed his and Chloe’s love tree.

Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) thought she was doing the right thing by warning Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) about the evil force going after the baby. Sadly, it cost her dearly. She was attacked by MarDevil and turned into a cat.
