Sophie Turner Shares First Photo From Her Wedding Day

After officially tying the knot over the weekend, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas just shared the first photo from their stunning wedding day. Both the bride and the groom took to social media to give their followers an inside look into their special day.

Turner, who shot to fame as Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones and Jonas, who rose to fame as part of the music group The Jonas Brothers with his siblings, each posted the same photo on Wednesday, July 3 of the couple walking down the aisle after saying “I do” with the caption, “Mr and Mrs Jonas.”

Jonas wore a dark suit with a bow tie, while the 23-year-old bride donned a stunning Louis Vuitton wedding dress. Tons of their celebrity friends commented on the adorable photo, including a few of Turner’s Game of Thrones co-stars.

Nathalie Emmanuel, who played Dany’s closest confidante (and her fate was part of the reason Dany lost her mind) Missandei on the hit show, commented, “Aww you guys! Congratulations!! You look stunning!”

Lena Headey, who of course played that wonderfully horrible mean queen Cersei Lannister, wrote, “Sophie Sophie … More than I can take. So beautiful, what a woman. Happy happy days to you both.” Gwendoline Christie, who played the woman sworn to protect Sansa, Brienne of Tarth, simply commented with a heart emoji.

The happy couple tied the knot on Saturday, June 29 in the South of France in front of close family and friends. While it’s unclear exactly which of Turner’s co-stars were there, her on-screen sister, Maisie Williams, served as the maid of honor.

This is technically the second wedding for Turner and Jonas, as they also got married in Las Vegas back in May following the Billboard Music Awards. Turner and Jonas have been together since November 2016 and they got engaged back in October 2017.
