Soap Star Kimberly McCullough Wants YOU To Help Save Her Show!

Fans watched Kimberly McCullough grow up as Robin on General Hospital and have tracked her career from young actress to a working director. Now, the Emmy-winning star is hoping her followers can throw support to a Netflix show on which she works.

EW.com recently reported that One Day At A Time, the revival of the hit CBS sitcom that ran from 1975 to 1984, which starred the late Bonnie Franklin, Valerie Bertinelli, and Mackenzie Phillips, is in danger of being canceled!

The current version of the show, which stars Penelope Alvarez as Penelope Alvarez and Rita Moreno as Lydia Riero, tells the story of three generations of the same Cuban-American family living in the same residence.

Executive producer Gloria Calderón Kellett has tweeted the show’s future is unclear despite the critical acclaim it has received.

The legendary Norman Lear created the original series, developed the current version, and has written and served as executive producer for it as well.

Lear’s innovative programming in the 1970s (All In The Family, Maude, The Jeffersons, and Good Times) revolutionized television as his programs tackled topical issues — changing hearts and minds in the process.

McCullough, who has directed episodes of the show, has also tweeted out that the show needs support.

Hopefully, fans will rally with their support and Netflix will renew the series for another season.
