Jerry Seinfeld, who started his career in New York standup clubs, and then went on to become the namesake, star, and producer of a show about nothing, is going back to his roots.
Netflix will air the special taped at one of those NY clubs where Seinfeld began his storied career, The Comic Strip.
Titled Jerry Before Seinfeld, the special will take a step back in time with clips and interviews of the comedian before he became a television sensation. It will also include him performing some of his classic bits in 2017.
The special will air on Netflix only on September 19, but you can get a preview with the trailer below.
