During a cat fight with Bonnie on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), Anjelica suddenly collapsed and Hattie declared her dead.

Since coming to Salem, Anjelica (Morgan Fairchild) had been scheming with the twosome in a plot designed to destroy Justin (Wally Kurth) and Adrienne’s bond, so that she could land Justin for herself.

Yet, Bonnie and Hattie (Deidre Hall) soon developed their own agendas and the plan went awry, finally hitting a dead end – literally – when Anjelica succumbed to a heart attack.

Soap Hub asked fans if Anjelica’s death took you by surprise. Nearly 9,000 of you weighed in on the character’s fate.

No, You Expected It
Anjelica’s demise was totally predictable to 50% of fans. You saw the writing on the wall, as she became increasingly more infuriated with Bonnie and Hattie. The pair were only concerned with what they wanted, and you assumed Anjelica was going to end up destroyed by the twosome.

Indeed, she was when she found Bonnie (Judi Evans) in bed with Lucas. She lunged at her in a fury and ended up dying on the spot.

Yes, It’s A Shocker
This twist hit 49% of you off guard. While you expected Anjelica’s plot to ultimately fail and for her shenanigans to be exposed, but you never thought the character would meet her maker.

You were looking forward to her confrontation with Justin and Adrienne, when they learned how she’d messed with their lives. Her death was a true stunner.

Doing the Happy Dance
The remaining 1% of fans are just happy to see Anjelica go. You hated the havoc she wreaked on Adrienne’s relationships with Justin and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), and how Hattie getting into the mix messed with John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena.

Now that Anjelica’s out of the picture, you’re hoping Bonnie and Hattie split town and things get back to normal.
