Sarah Michelle Gellar Helps Arrange Amazing Gift To Help Selma Blair

During her Daytime Emmy-winning run as spitfire Kendall Hart on All My Children, Sarah Michelle Gellar didn’t play someone known for making pals. Off-screen, however, it’s a different story. The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star recently shared an emotional moment with her good friend, actress Selma Blair.

The two actresses starred in the cult feature film Cruel Intentions. Last year, Blair made headlines when she went public with her courageous battle against Multiple Sclerosis.

“The best friendships, are fierce lady friendships, where you aggressively believe in each other, defend each other, and think the other deserves the world,” Gellar posted on her Instagram account. “Yesterday was the true definition of that. I’ve been working out for the last year with @rachaelblumberg at @platefit and she has completely changed my body.

“But what I did not realize, is that a power plate is extremely effective in combatting the symptoms of #MS,” Gellar continued. “So Rachael got the kind people at @powerplateusa to gift @selmablair her very own plate to aid in her recovery.

“Before yesterday, Rach and Selma had never met. It was just one mom wanting to help another in need. The world needs more stories (and people) like this.”

Blair ran the same photo on her Instagram account and shared the following: “I had my forever friend bring me a power plate. And an incredible @rachaelblumberg to teach me its ways. 💫@platefit @powerplateusa. I’ll post a snap in stories.

“It was wild to feel what circulation feels like again. A power plate will do that. I cannot believe I have my very own now. To warm my muscles and to help them recover. And yes. @sarahmgellar tucked me back in for a restorative nap. #angel.” Gellar responded: “You deserve the world. I must admit, I almost crawled in to nap with you.”
