How Did Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon Meet?

Before officially meeting for the first time while on the set of the television film Lemon Sky, which was released in 1988, they actually met in the ‘70s. In fact, according to Bacon, Sedgwick was just 12 years old when she recognized Bacon in a deli and told him she liked his play. Bacon, who was 19 at the time, remembered the moment when the two were reunited years later in their ‘20s.

31 Years of Marriage
The couple just celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary, as they tied the knot on September 4, 1988. In honor of their anniversary, Bacon shared a sweet photo of the couple on Instagram last month and wrote, “31 years today. Harmony. Heartbeats in time. Switching leads. And happy to play backup. I love u.”

On-Screen Co-Stars
After falling in love and tying the knot, Bacon and Sedgwick went on to co-star in movies together. They both appeared in Murder in the First, which was released in 1995, The Woodsman, which was released in 2004, and Loverboy, which was released in 2005.

Family of Four

Bacon and Sedgwick have two children together — a son named Travis born on June 23, 1989 and a daughter named Sosie born on March 15, 1992. Sosie, an actress herself, played the role of Skye Miller in the series 13 Reasons Why. She also starred in the HBO show Here and Now, which was released in 2018.
