The Talk aired its final episode on Friday, December 20. Some viewers will catch it live, while others will stream it the following day on Paramount Plus. But the OG co-hosts won’t be attending the finale. They still have beef with Sheryl Underwood.

Bad Blood

The Talk OG co-hosts Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen Moonves, and Carrie Ann Inaba will not appear in the final episode. Only the current panel, Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Jerry O’Connell, Natalie Morales, and Sherly Underwood, will be in attendance. An insider told The U.S. Sun that most of the bad blood stems from Sheryl.

The comedian was previously accused of encouraging a “toxic work environment” and “forcing out” the OG co-hosts. Another insider dished more details on the behind-the-scenes drama. Sharon was asked to return to the talk show but turned it down because of her feud with Sheryl. It turns out she wasn’t the only one.

“The show asked some of the former hosts to come back for the final season. They all said no because of Sheryl,” an insider explained. “They didn’t want to sit with her on the panel. I believe was asked back. There was a conversation, but she would never sit on that panel.”

Behind Osbourne’s Exit

Sharon was fired from The Talk in March 2021. She got into an argument with Sheryl about race during the live show. Sharon broke down in tears while Sheryl remained stoic.

Sharon claimed that she was “canceled.” There were also claims that Sheryl was also responsible for Carrie Ann Inaba’s removal from the show. However, the daytime program has undergone many changes over the years. It’s common for talk show hosts to come and go.

In recent weeks, new reports suggested that Sheryl is known to be “vindictive.” The cast and crew have to walk on eggshells around her because they don’t know what she’ll do next. So far, this all seems to be hearsay. (The current co-hosts shared their fondest memories of the show.)
