Three different connections occurred on Season 3 of Below Deck Down Under, which wrapped up on Monday, May 26. It’s time to take a look back at these couples. Who broke up and who’s going strong?
Harry and Brianna
It was love at first sight for Harry Vilet and Brianna Duffield. They have been inseparable since the first day. Later on, they agreed to become “exclusive partners.” At the end of Season 3, Harry finally had the courage to call Brianna his “girlfriend.” They left the Katina together to strike out their boatmance. In an interview with The Daily Dish, the couple shared an update on their relationship status.
They tried to make it work for a little while. “Bri and I went our separate ways a few months after filming ended,” Harry told The Daily Dish. “We traveled a bit, but then we had a difficult time with the long-distance relationship.” But it wasn’t a dramatic breakup. Harry confirmed they’re still good friends to this day.

Brianna even confirmed that Harry has become her personal tour guide. “We keep in contact, and he gives me great travel recommendations (outside of hostels). She previously shared that they stayed at a hostel in New York City during their travels. “Never again,” she shared.
Marina and Nicolas
Fans fell in love with Marina Marcondes De Barros and Nicolas Cattelan’s connection. Their boatmanship started as soon as Nicolas arrived on the boat halfway through the season. Nic loved Marina’s persistence, especially since he’s shy around women. Their relationship originated from their mutual attraction to each other. At the end of the season, Marina told Nic that she wanted to “wake up, have breakfast with you, and like make the best out of the week we’d have together.”
She invited Nic to join her in South Africa. The Below Deck News & Update Facebook page shared an update on their romance. Nic and Marina are still going strong. They even confirmed their relationship on social media. However, Marina told The Daily Dish that she had a “sabbatical” after Season 3.
Nate and Alesia
During the finale, we did get an update on one of the couples. Nate Salmon and Alesia Harris had a flirty relationship that went nowhere. Alesia got the ick when Nate talked about their “smoochies” with the crew. She also admitted that she hasn’t fallen for the bosun.
Nate saw a different side of Alesia during the crew’s final outing. She drunkenly made out with Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph and grinded Harry, who got in trouble with Brianna. (How producers cracked down on drinking during Season 3 of Below Deck Down Under.) The following day, Nate admitted that he was focused on seeing where his yachting career takes him.
