Ryan Seacrest could lose his new hosting gig on Wheel of Fortune. A new report suggests that Pat Sajak’s daughter Maggie is secretly training to host America’s Game Show. She wants to become America’s next sweetheart, behind Vanna White.

Insiders shared production’s new plans with The U.S. Sun. Maggie Sajak could eventually replace Seacrest. He still has too many gigs on his plate. If he “can’t work out a contract,” he could be off the game show.
Maggie is WoF’s social media correspondent. However, she hasn’t been as present on the show as in seasons past. That’s because she could quietly work behind the scenes to take Ryan’s hosting gig. Maggie boasts an impressive social media following.
She has 170K Instagram followers and over 9K TikTok followers. Production still has Maggie in mind for the hosting gig if it doesn’t work out for Ryan. They believe she could draw in younger viewers.
“It’s important to allow Maggie to develop her own voice when it comes to the Wheel voice, and that makes her incredibly valuable to Sony TV,” the insider told The U.S. Sun. “Because the whole point of bringing in Ryan Seacrest was to reach more young people.”
Working Her Way Up
A previous report suggested that Maggie was willing to host the show. But the ratings prove that people love Ryan. His debut has brought a rise in ratings, and producers don’t want to lose that.

Pat’s daughter hopes that she’ll get a promotion one day. “Maggie has positioned herself to help out if there’s a hosting vacancy, and the franchise is in her blood, and her appreciation for the world of Wheel of Fortune is genuine,” the insider noted.
Executives want to keep her around. Maggie announced on Instagram in September that she’s now a licensed attorney. She said she wants to “do some good” with her new position. It’s possible that this is all just a rumor, and Maggie wants to pursue a new career outside the show.
