Bachelor in Paradise finally returns this summer. Everything is bigger in Season 10, even its new resort situated in Costa Rica. The previous season was filmed in Playa Escondida Resort in Sayulita, Mexico.
New Digs
Entertainment Weekly was to report on BIP’s latest digs at the Azura Beach Resort in Costa Rica. It’s everything that you would expect a glamorous hideaway to be. The resort features open-air hotel rooms, a private swimming pool, and a poolside bar.

“The hotel is more upscale and has a sexy chicness to it that it feels more elevated than the traditional kind of Paradise that we’ve been in,” showrunner Scott Teti explained. “The cast can literally open the doors to their rooms and swim out into the pool under bridges, and then up to a beautiful bar that is touching the beach. It has amazing views. The beach itself is private and unique.”
Everything is private at this luxury resort. This location also has its own private island with fishing access. But it’s not completely secluded. There is a small town nearby, but it’s not packed with tourists. “It feels remote and upscale and sexy at the same time,” Teti noted.

BIP Reboot
Major changes are coming to BIP. For the first time ever, the younger and golden contestants will bunk together. However, the senior contestants won’t be sleeping in bunk beds. Teti revealed that a “VIP Suite” will also be available for contestants “on certain occasions,” in the event they want “alone” time with their love interest.
“The VIP suite is a two-story private getaway with an amazing setup that exudes Paradise,” he continued. “It’s got a private pool on the top floor and a jacuzzi on the second floor with a full-on kitchen. It’s got high balconies and elite views.”
Only six contestants have been announced for Season 10. Kat Izzo, Hakeem Moulton, Jonathon Johnson, and Zoe McGrady are the younger Bachelor contestants. Meanwhile, Leslie Fhima and Gary Levingston are from the Golden seasons. BIP premieres on Monday, July 7, on ABC.
