Ryan Seacrest might’ve cemented himself as the klutziest game show host. Once again, he wiped out on the set of Wheel of Fortune, and it was documented for everyone to see.
Wipeout
Ever since Seacrest joined as host in September 2024, he’s caught attention for his antics on the show. Fans noticed that he’s different from his predecessor, Pat Sajak. In his later years, Sajak became a little straight-laced while still cracking dry jokes. Meanwhile, Seacrest doesn’t mind getting a little silly, even if that means he’ll hurt himself.
WoF shared a clip of the incident on Instagram. The clip is from the Thursday, April 3 episode. The clip started with Seacrest revealing his new favorite special event. “I found my new favorite festival. It’s called the Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling Festival in the UK. And participants race down a hill chasing after a wheel of cheese. But in the end, you get the cheese. So, what could be better?” he exclaimed.
Seacrest and his co-host, Vanna White, held a wheel of cheese. Seacrest wanted to show off his moves. White asked Seacrest, “You ready to try it?” Seacrest responded, “I was born for this.” The wheel of cheese featured the WoF logo at the top in bright red letters. White rolled the wheel across the floor.
“Here we go,” she said. Meanwhile, Seacrest went after it. He nearly caught the cheese. But then, he wiped out on the floor. White put her hands to her mouth and asked, “Oh, no! Are you going to be okay?” Seacrest got up and grabbed the cheese. White added, “Yes,” with a laugh. Then, she closed out the episode by saying, “He’s gonna be okay. He’s okay! Woo! Good night, everyone!”

WoF were also shocked over Seacrest’s wipeout. They took to the comment section of the Instagram post to share their own reactions. Most fans recall the time when Seacrest wiped out on the ski slopes. (Did Vanna White say the F-word during that episode?) One fan never expected to see the American Idol host run across the floor for some cheese.
