Ryan Paevey left the entertainment industry last year. The General Hospital alum cited mental health and his mom’s battle with cancer. He’s spent most of his time at the beach. He also launched his jewelry line. However, there were rumblings that Paevey would eventually return to acting.
Returning To Hallmark?
Paevey enjoyed acting on Hallmark. He loved the wholesome projects and the escape from Hollywood life. Paevey is making a slow return to the public eye. He announced a two-day fan event in San Diego. Paevey will also appear at a Christmas fan event later this year. He shared a Christmas poster that featured himself, Chad Michael Murray, and Arielle Kebbel.
The event is called Christmas In a Small Town and takes place in Dahlonega, Georgia. “Cue the snowflakes and summer sunshine, because Christmas in A Small town is bringing the holiday magic to @cityofdahlonega this July with @decadedayz!” Paevey teased in the caption.
At first, it seemed like a soft launch back into acting. Plus, the other two stars featured are currently on the Hallmark circuit. One fan asked, “Ryan, please tell us this means you’re coming back to Hallmark, we miss you so much.” Pavey answered, “That’s a question for them, haha. I’m gonna see if I can find a friendly face there to have a conversation with…who knows, worth a shot. 🤙🏽” It sounds like he’s trying to work his way back in.

Answering Fans’ Burning Questions
The comment section was lit as soon as fans noticed that Paevey was answering questions. Many noticed that it’s been over a year since he starred in a Hallmark film. Another fan wrote, “That’s awesome. Are you saying that you’re going back to Hallmark or are you just taking it slow for now?” Paevey informed the fan, “That’s not my call to make. I’d love to do a film now and again. If they’d be keen.”
The upcoming fan event is not affiliated with Hallmark, but what’s interesting is that it’s affiliated with Hallmark stars. Paevey has tried to associate himself with the feel-good network.
