Pascal Ibgui tried to find love with Joan Vassos. He shocked Bachelor Nation when he told her that he didn’t feel love for her. This awkward conversation happened on what was supposed to be their overnight date. Joan doesn’t harbor any ill will toward Pascal. Yes, it hurts to be dumped on national television. But the two are better off as friends.
Pascal is still hopeful about finding love. He revealed that he would be up for the challenge of becoming the next Golden Bachelor. But only under this condition.
High-Maintenance
Pascal had already built up quite a reputation. He arrived at the Golden Bachelorette mansion with a long list of demands. He declared that he doesn’t cook, clean, or do laundry. Pascal assigned those tasks to the other guys in the mansion.
At first, it seemed like Pascal was getting the villain edit. The salon owner lives a lavish lifestyle and doesn’t seem like the type to settle down. However, he was willing to let his walls come down. He even shared some vulnerable moments with Joan and the other men on the show.
Ultimately, they couldn’t make it work. Pascal didn’t feel any sparks between them. The Frenchman is hopeful about finding love again. It just has to be with the right type of woman.

French Casanova
In his interview with Us Weekly, Pascal shared his thoughts on becoming the next Golden Bachelor. He would take on the lead role, but only if the show lowered the age requirement for the women.
“They will have to lower the age,” Pascal said. “The age [has] to be lower. Yes, I’m old, but I don’t go out with a 72-year-old woman.”
The reason is that younger women are not as settled down. It can be hard for the men on the spin-offs to move for the love of their lives. The Chicago native is one of those men who has settled down.
“So, for me to pack up. My stuff and move [somewhere else] is not going to happen. I want to wake up with somebody in the morning. I want to go to bed with somebody. I want to walk down the street with her and get coffee in the morning,” he explained.
Pascal has another idea. He would like the franchise to have a show for each city, like Chicago. Still, he’s open to the idea of becoming the nation’s next Golden Bachelor for Season 2. What do you think? Let us know in the comment section.
