When Calls the Heart Season 12 is coming soon. It will have a new attitude and some steamy moments between Elizabeth and Nathan. Hearties have wondered how far the show will go with this hot new romance.
Spicy Season 12
Ahead of the show’s premiere, the cast spoke out about the new season. Hearties enjoy the romance between Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Nathan (Kevin McGarry) and can’t wait for more romance to unfold between the golden couple.
The cast teased that “spicy” moments would occur between the two. One of those moments includes a “sleepover situation.” This was brought up during Hallmark’s Christmas Experience, which occurred from December 13 to 15, reports Entertainment Now.
In the panel, Krakow revealed that the two will get closer in Season 12. There will be “really difficult, emotional stories” that will bring them closer together. At times, things will “get tough.”
On another panel, McGarry talked about Nathan and Elizabeth’s relationship. He teased that things between them will get “dangerous at some points.” Both of them will navigate the ups and downs of being single parents.
Both McGarry and Krakow hoped that Nathan would become Elizabeth’s “rock” in Season 12. The couple will connect during an overnight event that keeps them together. “We get to see this kind of very romantic honeymoon phase that’s full of adventure and mischief,” Krakow teased. “Maybe there’s a little sleepover situation.”
Some of the Hearties gasped, while others howled and whistled in response. Krakow assured them that it wasn’t that kind of sleepover. “We’re all very moral characters. No one is doing anything scandalous,” she said with a smile.

WCTH Keeps it Chaste
Obviously, the characters aren’t going to go there so soon. It’s a Hallmark Channel series, after all. One word that was brought up during the convention was the word “chaste.”
Krakow quickly revealed that “not everyone” was having a “sleepover situation” and that “it’s all very chaste.” McGarry joked about Nathan’s “chaste” kisses with Elizabeth in a different panel. The WCTH stars often joked about their kissing scenes.
When Calls the Heart Season 12 premieres on Sunday, January 5 at 9 p.m. EST on the Hallmark Channel. New episodes are available to stream the following day on Hallmark+.
