Is Georgie Returning to Hope Valley?
Gilbert appeared on the Hey Dude… The 90s Called podcast and confirmed that she’s returning for Season 13. She teased that her character will be on the show “a bit more this year.” Gilbert enjoys her time there. She admitted that it feels like “home.”
“When I go to Vancouver to the set, I walk in and it’s this old town, you know? It feels crazy, there I am. It’s just like going home, it’s this strange and wonderful feeling, and I’m very excited to go back,” the Little House on the Prairie actress said.
What Does This Mean For Georgie and Bill?
As SoapHub previously reported, Wagner will also be back on set for WCTH Season 13. He’s pulling double duty with the Hallmark series and The Bold and the Beautiful. The soap stud is in high demand with two big TV romances. Wagner will return to B&B as Nick, who romances Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Meanwhile, on WCTH, Wagner plays Bill, who strikes up a romance with Georgie (Gilbert). Without sharing too much, Gilbert revealed, “I’ll be back and forth to Vancouver a bit more, I think this year.” This suggests that things will pick up where they left off. We’re excited to see what’s next for Bill and Georgie. She also shared the scoop on the outfits that Georgie wears on the show, a decision she had a hand in.
“I made the decision to put my character in a corset for a myriad of reasons, none of which were smart, but it looks good,” Gilbert said with a laugh. “And the lace-up shoes, and just the whole vibe that I have going on there. And with my hair up, you know, carrying a little bit of the late 1800s in the early 1900s.”
