Bachelor In Paradise is coming later this year. The rebooted series is getting a massive shakeup. For the first time, it will feature Golden contestants. This made some fans wonder whether the younger contestants would date the Golden contestants. Well, another change was quickly made to the dating show.
Mixer On The Beach
There has been growing interest in BIP now that Golden contestants are entering the island. Season 10 will include a mix of contestants from The Golden Bachelor franchise. Gerry Turner turned it down but offered a different role. Bachelor Nation fans wanted to know whether the older and younger contestants would date.
On the Tuesday, April 8 episode of The Betchelor podcast, host Jaret Freid interviewed Leslie Fhima, who’s joining BIP. At first, Freid admitted they “got it wrong” and that producers are filming “two separate seasons.” His co-host, Kay Brown, corrected him and explained that Season 10 will feature contestants from both franchises but “on two different beaches.”
They won’t be mixing together. “The show is going to go back and forth between the two beaches,” Freid noted. This will offer more drama and heartfelt moments. “It won’t be the Goldens creepin’ on the youngins’,” he joked.
Who’s Joining BIP Season 10
Fans will be disappointed by this change made to the show. The new casting twist was announced, making them assume the two generations would mix. Meanwhile, others will be relieved to learn that there won’t be any age-gap relationships.
Fhima and Gary Levingston have been announced for Season 10. Hakeem Moulton, Jonathon Johnson, and Zoe McGrady from The Bachelor franchise have also been confirmed. BIP went on hiatus in 2024. It underwent a reboot during its break. The Bachelorette is currently on pause for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
