Kelly Clarkson is making career moves once again. Questions lie with the future of her eponymous daytime talk show. In the meantime, Clarkson is joining fellow singer Amy Grant on a new project that has nothing to do with music.
Thrilling To The Ears
Clarkson and Grant are teaming up for a thrilling novel, Caretaker, which will be released as an audiobook. Jason Halbert and his wife, Rhonda, worked on the novel that feels like a thrilling soap opera. According to USA Today, Grant guest-starred in a scene where she sang “Home (Lyana’s Song),” which was created for the audiobook.

This isn’t just another novel. It’s an immersive audio experience that will take you into the story. Composer Joe Trapanese is responsible for the music, while actors will add to the “eerie atmosphere” to make this a chilling production. The cast also includes Brandon Engman, Charles Esten, Erick Avari, Hayley Orrantia, Henry Ian Cusick, Josh Robert Thompson, and Michael Shanks.
Caretaker is available to stream now on R.J. Halbert’s website, which is the pseudonym of Rhonda and Jason Halbert. It will then drop on major audiobook platforms this summer, just in time for your travels. You surely won’t get bored when you’re on the plane, train, or car. You’ll feel as if you’ve been transported into a chilling soap opera.

Clarkson Lends Her Voice
Fans have been patiently waiting for Clarkson’s new album. Last week, she dropped her new single, “Where Have You Been.” The glamorous music video debuted on The Kelly Clarkson Show. But instead of a new album, fans are listening to a new audiobook in which Clarkson lends her voice.
She worked with Jason Halbert in the past. He offered his contributions to her album, Stronger. So, it made sense for these two to work together again. “We have had so much fun doing it, but it’s completely different,” Halbert said on Clarkson’s show. “The most nervous he has probably ever seen me in the studio is when I did my part,” Clarkson added.
