Joan Vassos’ Shocking Decision on Golden Bachelorette Sends Three Fan Favorites Home

This was the twist on The Golden Bachelorette that no one saw coming. Joan Vassos had to pick four men for her hometown dates. This means she had to send three men packing. But did she choose the right men?

Halfway Point

Bachelor Nation fans got to the halfway point of the ABC dating show. That means Joan had to make a difficult decision. On the Wednesday, October 16 episode, she got rid of a fan favorite. Even though Mark finally got his one-on-one with Joan, their date was far from smooth sailing.

The two drank champagne on a yacht. Despite the romantic setting, Mark struggled to have a conversation with Joan. Host Jesse Palmer came to the rescue by planning a scavenger hunt. Mark and Joan searched for a bottle that had a message inside. The message included instructions for “Never Have I Ever.”

Joan and Mark finally connected during their date. However, Joan wanted to speak with him the following day. Even though they “bonded” during their one-on-one date, she still felt something was “missing.” Joan apologized to Mark before sending him home. Fans are hoping that Mark will become the next Golden Bachelor.

Making the Right Call?

Joan made another shocking decision. Later, during the rose ceremony, she handed out roses to Chock, Guy, Jordan, and Pascal. Keith and Jonathan ultimately had to leave the mansion. Fans were in love with both men and felt they were better for Joan than the remaining three.

This surprising twist suggests that Chock could get the final rose. Joan has connected with them ever since their Disneyland date. However, Chock’s strong and confident energy could blow his chances at winning her heart.

Joan told the men that it broke her heart to make this decision. Both Jordan and Jonathan agreed that Joan made an impact on them. Pascal was upset over losing one of his best friends in the mansion. Seeing him get emotional was a first for the viewers.

It’s not just Joan or the fans that are torn up over this decision. Even the men have formed bonds. What are your thoughts on Joan’s decision? Who do you think she’ll give her final rose to? Let us know in the comment section.
