Golden Bachelorette alum Joan Vassos wants to switch roles. Before her latest appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she tried her hand at the Real Housewives franchise. She shared some of her dream taglines if she were to star on the show.
Auditioning For Real Housewives
This week, Vassos was a guest on WWHL. She stood behind the bar and spilled secrets about the Golden Bachelorette and her relationship with Chock Chapple. Vassos also revealed that she’s a huge fan of the Real Housewives franchise. She even auditioned for the show before her appearance.
Vassos even looked the part. She wore a black dress with a sequined bodice, showing off her flat stomach. The reality star paired the calf-length style dress with silver stilettos. Her signature blonde hair was styled in soft waves. Vassos finished off her glamorous look with diamond jewelry.
Backstage at WWHL, she revealed her dream Real Housewives taglines. Vassos delivered four perfect ones. “I never settle for silver. I always go for the gold,” she cooed as she held a drink. “I might be Golden in age, but my roses are always thorny,” she winked. “I’m not just golden… I’m pure platinum,” Vassos recited as she fluttered her eyelashes.
“Warning: my roses prick back,” she warned as she sipped her drink. Vassos wrote in the caption: “Which one do you like best??” She filmed this moment in the green room at WWHL. Bachelor Nation fans took to the comment section of Vassos’ Instagram post to share their thoughts.
Unfortunately, most were disappointed. Vassos got backlash for this fun video. Most didn’t understand this was a joke. One fan wrote, “You look fabulous! Also, the real ones know this video is a cute and harmless joke. ❤️👑” Fellow Golden Bachelor alum, Sandra Joy, shared her support. She wrote, “So good! ALL of them!” Another fan commented, “You look absolutely incredible! That dress 👌🏻❤️”
From Roses To Apples?
If it still featured the original cast, Vassos would be the perfect fit for The Real Housewives of New York franchise. She would fit in with the ladies. We could see Vassos swapping out her roses for apples. Rumors swirled that she could eventually move to NYC to be closer to Chock.
