Jack Lencioni stole the hearts of Bachelor Nation when he made his debut on the premiere of The Golden Bachelorette. The 68-year-old serenaded Joan Vassos with Frank Sinatra’s hit song “My Way” during his introduction. The caterer from Chicago became a fan favorite when he said he was there for a good time. Sadly, his time on the show came to an end.

Makes Big Impression on Bachelor Nation

Fans are upset over the rose ceremony. They didn’t expect Lencioni to leave the show this soon. He was exactly what the mansion needed, and his personality lit up the room.

He immediately made an impression on Vassos. But it wasn’t enough to win her heart. During Episode 2, he was left standing without a rose. He had to go home. Lencioni left the same way he entered the mansion.

He still had a big smile on his face. Lencioni winked at Vassos and serenaded her one last time. All the men clapped as he walked out. Vassos told the cameras that he still feels positive about his experience.

“I have no complaints at all. I had a ball in this place, and it was a beautiful thing. I did my cannon balls in the pool today. I had a couple of cocktails, and you know what?” he said before he sang, “I did it my way.”

Lencioni might’ve had one of the best exits from the entire Bachelor franchise. He was determined to do things his way, and that’s what he came to do. He was unapologetically himself, which warmed fans up to him.

Some fans assumed that Lencioni would be given the villain edit. However, he became the fun-loving guy the mansion needed. He became known for his love of cannonballs and cocktails.

What His Family Thinks

Interestingly, Lencioni’s family didn’t want him on the show. They were against the idea because they feared what would come out of his mouth. Lencioni shared this revelation on the Tuesday, September 24 episode of the Viall Files podcast.

Lencioni said he “would never disrespect” his “wonderful” ex-wife. He admitted they weren’t meant to be. Even if Lencioni is a little rough around the edges, he still manages to keep it classy. Looking back at the episodes, Lencioni’s family is “happy” with his appearance and the impression he’s made.

Now, some fans might be interested in seeing Lencioni as the next Golden Bachelor. The Golden Bachelorette airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET with next-day streaming on Hulu.
