Hearties have been wondering where Elizabeth is hiding. In the When Calls the Heart Season 12 finale, she left for Cape Fullerton along with Little Jack, Nathan, and Allie. This difficult decision came after Little Jack’s diabetes diagnosis. The finale suggested that their departure may just be temporary. Elizabeth hinted that they would return at some point. That’s the question on Hearties’ minds these days. They want to know whether Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) will stay in Cape Fullerton at the start of Season 13 or return to Hope Valley. In a new Instagram video, Krakow teased her onscreen persona’s whereabouts.

She reposted a video from costume designer Barbara Gregusova, who pans her camera around an empty room. However, Elizabeth’s clothes are everywhere. The caption reads, “Where is Elizabeth? 👀 🕵️♂️We missed our annual first fitting post this year… but here’s a little sneak peek from today’s fitting instead!”
Krakow missed her first fitting while filming. She’s been busy promoting the new Hallmark movie, Christmas Above The Clouds, with co-star Tyler Hynes. This suggests that Elizabeth might not show up in Hope Valley just yet. The Season 13 premiere could look a little different this year.
