Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph didn’t appreciate being dubbed the “villain” of Season 3 of Below Deck Down Under. She had much to say about this season, which is still playing out. Fans got a sneak peek at what to expect from the midseason trailer.
Made To Be The Villain?
Mace-Ralph was on The Domenick Nati Show. She didn’t hold back on her feelings about this season of Down Under, which has had more lows than highs. The chef struggled to get along with crew members Chef Anthony Bird and Chief Stew Lara Rigby. She felt she was made out to be the villain of Season 3. During the interview, Mace-Ralph noticed that the producers took her storyline in that direction.
The only reason Mace-Ralph seems dramatic is the way she’s edited. However, she claims she’s nothing like that. She didn’t like the way the producers portrayed her on the show. She was chosen as the punching bag, sort of, to speak. Mace-Ralph claimed that producers didn’t show the entire story. “They’re not showing the context,” she explained.
Mace-Ralph wasn’t the only one experiencing difficulty with her work relationships. Rigby had a rocky time with her stewardesses this season. Mace-Ralph believes that Rigby should’ve gotten a new stewardess. She blamed production for not allowing it to happen. Interestingly, it wasn’t a crew member decision.
Rigby and Mace-Ralph butted heads season. Unfortunately, that rocky relationship continued on dry land. Mace-Ralph admitted they’re not on speaking terms. She reached out to Rigby after the charter season. She wanted to make amends, but Rigby left her on read.
Who Would She Date?
Mace-Ralph had her pick of the boys this season. However, she had her eye on Bosun Wihan Du Toit. But he acted like a player. He’s already getting heat for acting like one of the creepiest men in the Below Deck franchise. (Find out why Johnny Arvanitis punched a wall.) Some fans claim he’s the season’s real villain.
Mace-Ralph hasn’t had much luck with boatmances. They don’t end the way she predicted. But if she could date anyone from the franchise, it would be Kate Chastain, who was a chief stew on the OG series. “She’s such a MILF,” Mace-Ralph gushed.
