Anna Delvey’s journey on Dancing With the Stars has ended. The so-called heiress was eliminated on the dancing competition’s Tuesday, September 24th episode. She summarized her experience in one word, which still has fans buzzing.

DWTS Experience Comes to an End

Delvey was a controversial choice for Season 33 of DWTS. She is a convicted con artist who swindled people out of thousands of dollars. Delvey was convicted of grand larceny and paid the time. She hoped that the ABC show would help rehab her image.

The socialite revealed that she joined the show to get a second chance. That hasn’t stopped viewers from sharing their distaste with Delvey’s casting. During Tuesday’s episode, Delvey revealed the hate she’s gotten from appearing on the show. Her friend and Gems Uncut actress Julia Fox explained that Delvey’s hard exterior is a way to protect herself.

Ultimately, Delvey was one of the two celebrities eliminated that night. Tori Spelling also went home. The 90210 alum was grateful for the opportunity to join the show, but that wasn’t the case with Delvey.

She shared her one-word response summarizing her Dancing With the Stars experience. Host Julianne Hough asked what she was taking from her experience, and Delvey responded with a resounding, “Nothing.” Pro partner Ezra Sosa was shocked by her response, raising his eyebrows in response.

This comes just hours after Sosa defended Delvey on social media. He believed that she deserved a second chance. Sosa also revealed to fans that Delvey cried in the bathroom after she made her DWTS debut. She also faced hate from former pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Now, Delvey is more hated for saying she got “nothing” out of her experience. Fans called her “rude” and “cold.” Other fans called Delvey’s exit one of the show’s top memorable moments.

Despite Sosa’s claims, Delvey was excited to be eliminated. She was reported smiling backstage, per People. Dancing With the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, with new episodes streaming the following day on Hulu.
