Gerry Turner doesn’t want to find love again—at least, not on Bachelor In Paradise. The Golden Bachelor alum shared his ideas on a potential new role in the rebooted series.

Turner Turns Down ABC’s Offer

Turner turned down the opportunity to join Bachelor In Paradise. Fans assumed that he would join the show to find a new love. However, Turner isn’t interested in the idea. He told TMZ that he’s not attracted to any of the women who will be on the spinoff dating series.

ABC producers approached Turner three weeks ago, but he said no. The reason? Turner has already courted most of the women before. There’s already baggage there. Ultimately, Turner didn’t feel romantic sparks with the women from his season.

However, Turner is open to another potential role. He pitched his idea to TMZ. Turner would love to co-host or make a guest-starring appearance. He would also help out host Wells Adam with barback duties. Turner would rather look for love outside the island. Also, he’s focused on his cancer battle. (Find out how his diagnosis affected his marriage to Theresa Nist.)

Golden Summer

Summer is about to get a little more golden. ABC announced a major shakeup to Bachelor In Paradise. For the first time, it will feature the Golden contestants from both of Turner’s and Joan Vassos’ seasons. Fans are excited to see the singles interact.

The series will feature fan favorites like Leslie Fhima and Gary Levingston, according to Chicks In The Office. But it’s not just Golden Bachelor alum. The show will also include favorites from previous seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. That means the older and younger contestants will be mixing, which could make for awkward interactions and surprising love connections.

Bachelor In Paradise will premiere sometime in summer 2025. ABC hasn’t announced a premiere date, but it could air sometime in August or September. What are your thoughts on the newly rebooted BIP? Who do you want to see on the show? Let us know in the comment section.
