Below Deck Mediterranean alums Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher are still going strong. The couple plans to share more of their journey on social media now that they have more happy news. Gael confirmed that she was pregnant. It’s the first child for both.
Real-Life Romantic Story
Their boatmance started on Season 9 of BDM. Sparks flew between Cameron and Gallagher from the moment they boarded the Mustique. But Cameron was in a relationship at the time. She tried to ignore her feelings for Nathan, as she assumed it was just lust. Gallagher and Cameron became good friends throughout the charater season.
Of course, this made Cameron’s relationship even more complicated. Chef Jonathan Shillingford bluntly asked her if she wanted to still be with him. Cameron realized that she had to follow her heart. During the crew nights out, Cameron and Gallagher tried to find alone time in a place on the yacht that was camera-free, but it was hard. There are cameras everywhere, watching the crew’s every move.
Halfway through the season, Cameron broke up with her boyfriend after his behavior concerned her. She started her boatmance with Gallagher. Their relationship was still going strong after they left the boat. The two have shared their journey with BDM fans, and plan to share more now that they’re expecting their first child together.

Gender Reveal
It wasn’t an April Fools’ joke. On Tuesday, April 1, Cameron shared an Instagram reel of her dancing with Gallagher The clip featured glowstick figures. Meanwhile, a small green figure appeared inside of Cameron’s stomach, referring to the pregnancy rumors. “Yep, you saw that right… now go ahead and speculate,” the former stew wrote.
The following day, Cameron and Gallagher shared an Instagram reel of their gender reveal, which took place on the beach. The couple is expecitng a baby boy. A cloud of blue smoke exploded in the air. “The moments our heart grew even bigger… Our little boy. We can’t wait to share our world, our laughter, and all of life’s wild adventures with you, little one. Our greatest journey yet is just beginning,” Cameron wrote.
Their fellow BDM Season 9 cast member Elena Dubaich wrote, “Yaaaaay congratulations!! Many blessings for a wonderful life of your baby boy.” Fans also shared congrats for the happy couple. One fan noted, “My [favorite] couple on Below Deck. A true romantic story! Congratulations to both of your happy news of a baby boy!”
