When Calls the Heart star shared an update amid the Los Angeles wildfires. Understandably, Hearties have been concerned about her whereabouts.
Krakow Updates Hearties
Unfortunately, the Los Angeles wildfires continue to rage. The Associated Press reports that the fires are at 13% containment. They have impacted thousands of residents, including soap stars and celebrities. Krakow shared an update with Hearties on Instagram. She posted an ominous photo of the fires behind the Hollywood sign taken by L.A. photographer Franco.
“Thank you very much to everyone who has reached out to check on our wellbeing. We are safe and grateful. I’m in awe of the bravery on display and the way our communities are coming together to support one another,” Krakow wrote in the caption. “So many families have been devastated by these fires.”
Krakow informed Hearties of how they could be of service. She shared that GoFundMe “has gathered and verified fundraisers to assist those impacted most.” Krakow included a link in her bio that’s legitimate and safe. (Cameron Mathison warned GH fans of GoFundMe scams.)
Communities Coming Together
As usual, Hearties raced to the comment section to share their thoughts. Most were relieved to learn that Krakow was doing well. Others expressed their gratitude to the firefighters, volunteers, and those on the frontlines.
Some Hearties shared their experience with the wildfires. “Born in Pasadena, lived in LA county my whole life. Hollywood was my career,” one fan wrote. “Our hearts are broken by the devastation in California because of the fires. I am a Californian myself, and although I am far from you, my sweet and beautiful California, my heart and prayers are with you and all Californian brothers and sisters!” another user commented.
Our thoughts go out to those affected by the L.A. wildfires. (Here’s how you can donate to help those in need.)
